Alan Jewett Obituary

JEWETT, ALAN HARVEY Oct. 27, 1961 to July 12, 2003 Alan was a sensitive and loyal friend to many, and we now mourn his sudden and unexpected death. Alan was a graduate of Madison High School, class of 1979. He obtained a paralegal degree from Kelsey-Jenney and also graduated with a 4.0 GPA from University of Phoenix. He attained four other certifications and educational honors, which he took much pride in accomplishing. Alan was a Project Coordinator in the Legal department at Agouron/Pfizer, Inc. Big Al was a loving Uncle to his nephew and four nieces. His parents, Harvey Jewett and Christa Stahl, will dearly remember him always. His brother Scott Jewett and sister Susie Schade will miss their courageous, loving brother. We will miss his full-faced smile, sense of humor, gentle spirit, and strong will. Alan ' s fondest memories included camping at San Elijo, being approved to buy his first house, caring for the family pets, trips to Baja, Christmas mornings on Lodi Place, playing "monster-go-seek" in the canyon, hiking, the first day of summer vacation, and surfing. He was born and lived most of his life in San Diego, CA. He dearly loved his many friends and family members. All who knew Alan are invited to join us for a memorial service at Marian Bear Memorial Park in San Clemente Canyon (52 freeway to the Regents/Clairemont Mesa exit, turn south, then right), at 11 a.m. Saturday July 19, 2003. This casual service will be held outdoors. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the San Diego Humane Society, 887 Sherman Street, San Diego, 92110.
