I met Kathie when I joined Alpha Chi Omega at SDSU in 1967 and have kept in touch with her through birthday and Christmas cards up until 3-4 years ago when cards simply stopped coming....I later found out that she was suffering from memory loss. She was an incredible person and mentor and I loved hearing about all of her many travel adventures. The world was a better place because of her and she will be greatly missed. I'm grateful that she is now at
peace. My thoughts and prayers to all who knew and loved her.

Kathie was my big sister in Alpha Chi Omega at SDSU. She was always so on top of things. I admired her zest for life. She lived a full life and touched many. I always looked forward to her Christmas letters to learn where she had been each year and what adventures she had encountered in her travels.
She is gone way too soon!! Peace to you Kathie and blessings to your family.

I have not seen Kathie since high school, but I remember her well. I work at a facility with a dementia unit, so I know how tough that can be. I will look for her tracks in the snow as I ski the Cascades.

Kathie was in my class of 1965 Point Loma High School, and she was very much a leader there. Bright, friendly, involved in many things. Then we reconnected again in the 70's when we both participated in functions at Torrey Pines Ski Club. I remember some great parties she had at her house! Haven't seen her in a lot of years. So when I saw her obituary today in the paper, I was shocked and very much saddened. My condolences to her family.

I saw Kathy for the last time in a Doctor's office. I was aware that she didn't recognize me, but as she passed she leaned over, and whispered, "That is such a pretty shirt - the perfect color for you." Her always kind ways were not forgotten.
