Margie Webster George

Margie Webster George December 8, 1939 - September 19, 2015 san diego Unexpectedly, on Saturday, September 19th, Margie Webster George passed away. Margie was born to the late Herbert Webster and Thora Webster on December 8, 1939. A native San Diegan who lived most of her life in Point Loma, Margie graduated from San Diego State University where she was a member of the Pi Beta Phi fraternity. At an early age, she was an accomplished pianist and Margie grew up to love the arts. She spent most of her working life as an accountant. Her most recent position was as a CFO at Bazaar del Mundo as well as the personal assistant to Dianne Powers. Prior to that, she held a similar position with M.H. Golden Construction. She was very active in the All Souls' Episcopal Church in Point Loma. Margie was a true Christian who believed in helping the less fortunate as evidenced by her working with the Loaves and Fishes group to feed and administer to the homeless. Margie is survived by her husband David, her mother Thora, her brother Herbie, her three children Brad, Tracey and Scott, her five grandchildren and doggy Sophie. Though all who knew her will greatly miss her presence, they are comforted by the knowledge that she is in a better place now.A celebration of life will be held on October 2nd at 10 am at the All Souls' Episcopal Church in Point Loma.
