Michael Gandolfi Obituary

Gandolfi, Michael Patrick "Pat" 09/10/1938 ~ 04/11/2014 SAN DIEGO -- Born and raised in San Diego, Pat graduated from Mission Bay High and the University of San Diego. For 36 years, Pat manned the computers at the same bank, despite mergers and name changes. Fellow employees knew if there was a problem, Pat was the person to call. He was a 44-year member of the Elks, serving as Exalted Ruler of North Shores Lodge 2150 and Alhambra-San Gabriel Lodge 1328. When he passed, he was serving as Secretary of the California-Hawaii Elks Association. He was also active in the Knights of Columbus and a proud lifelong resident of Pacific Beach. He enjoyed traveling with his wife to Spain, Ireland, and Russia, and they particularly enjoyed touring U.S. National Parks. Pat was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Florence, and his children Mike, Anna, Terri, and David; and 3 grandsons, James, Gabriel, and Dominic. Funeral Services will be at St. Brigid Catholic Church on April 29 and an Elks Memorial Service at the El Cajon Lodge on May 4. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Pat's honor be made to the California-Hawaii Elks Major Project (Purple Pig Fund).
