Barbra Miller Obituary

Barbra Miller
June 2, 1937 - August 15, 2023
San Luis Obispo, California - Barbra June Miller was born June 2 1937 in Visalia, California, to parents Homer Hance and Nettie Hance. She passed away peacefully on August 15th 2023. She grew up a skilled bowler and was a very talented artist. Barbra was an athlete and spoke fondly of her days playing basketball. She was a loyal Dodgers fan whose favorite pastime was watching the game with her son. Barbra was a woman of conviction and tenacity, a force to be reckoned with. She loved as fiercely as she held her convictions. To be a part of her circle was something to consider an honor.
Her love of family was always evident; she was exceptionally warm and wonderful to her children and grandchildren. She will be so missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is survived by her life long partner Don Kinney, son Jeff Miller, daughter Janet Wolf (David), granddaughter Rikki Hooker-Ancell (Zach), grandson Samuel Wolf (Mya), and great granddaughter Paityn Wolf.
Her family will be celebrating privately. In lieu of gifts, please mail donations to the San Luis Obispo Animal Shelter Guardian Angel Fund located at 1055 Monterey Street, San Luis Obispo, CA 93408.
