Brian Green Obituary

Brian Green "Harpo"
02/20/1956 ~ 12/18/2020
Denver, CO- Brian D. Green left this world peacefully on December 18, 2020 at home surrounded by family, friends and good music. Brian was born on February 20, 1956 in Saginaw, MI but grew up in Salt Lake City, UT. He worked in the commercial food sales field his entire career which eventually took him to Denver, Co. He loved all sports especially the Raiders and Yankees, good music, good friends and most of all he loved to laugh. If you were a friend, you were a friend for life.
Brian "Harpo" was preceded in death by his father Royal Green, two brothers Denny and Terry, sister Nikki, son-in-law to be Brandon and grandson Conner.
He is survived by his wife Debbie, four children Jarred Bowers, Casey (Stephanie) Petersen, Trystin (Sky) Leighton, Kristen Green, nine grandchildren, Bailey, Carter, Jace, Kailina, Avery, Harper, Ashton, Max and Kallyn, mother Madge Green, sister Carla and nephew Courtney (Angela) Green.
A celebration of life will be scheduled when we can gather and celebrate face to face. Only the good die young and that could not be truer. Go Raiders!

I'm so sorry that I didn't hear about Brian's passing sooner..what a great friend and b-ball teammate after high school...I went to West but was a good friend with Brian. I only wish I would've been able to see him after all these years. Had a great time with him and Rory. RIP my friend.

So sorry to hear of Brian’s passing. I played basketball with him at Cottonwood High and have fond memories of that time. I’m sure I’ve never seen him without a smile and an encouraging word. I also ran into Brian quite a bit later on since he called on grocery stores just like me. Rest In Peace Brian.

We met Harpo through Jarred and his family and we absolutely adored him. Although we did not know him as well as others, we thoroughly enjoyed our camping time with him and his family! We will always remember our gorge trips and our “name that tune” game where he rocked it!! He was the nicest and most welcoming person. He will be missed. Sending our love to all of his family.

Brian and I were friends when we were very young. We participated in youth sports together, I always looked up to him, and respected his attitude and competitiveness. I'm very sorry to hear of his passing way too soon

Brian and I were good friends in High school. We ran track together and had the best relay team in the state. He was the one always pushing you to do better. We got in and out of a lot of trouble together. He was the one you could always count on. Rest in Peace buddy.
P.S. I want my Deep Purple Album back
