San Luis Obispo, California - Long time resident of San Luis Obispo California, Edwin Donald Silva, 93, passed away peacefully at home with his beloved wife Ruth Silva at his side on October 25th 2023.
Edwin was born on March 8th 1930 to Joe D. Silva and Anna Silva, in San Luis Obispo Ca. He attended local schools graduating from San Luis Obispo High School.
Edwin was married to Ruth Silva for 65 years, they raised two sons David Silva and Ronald Silva.
In 1951 Edwin was drafted and went over seas to the Korean War for two years. He then returned to being a Dairy Farmer in which he retired from in 1987. He was very dedicated to Dairy Farming.
Edwin was preceded in death by Father Joe D. Silva, Mother Anna Silva, Son Ronald Silva, Brother Joe Jr Silva, Sisters Mary Woods and Georgina Mele.
He is survived by spouse Ruth Silva, Son David Silva, grandsons Che Silva and Ronald Silva, great grandchildren Braxton Silva and Averee Silva.
Memorial Services will be held November 7th 2023, 10:00am at Reis Family Mortuary located at 911 Nipomo St. San Luis Obispo , Ca. Following a celebration of life will be held at the San Luis Obispo Elks Lodge located 222 Elks Lane, San Luis Obispo 93401.
