Nina Fenton Obituary
Nina Rose Fenton went peacefully to her Lord on August 8, 2007. She was a 45 year resident of Santa Cruz, coming from Pomona during the early 60's. Born in Buffalo, New York she traveled with her parents to Southern California when merely 13 years old. Nina started many "home based businesses" including assembly of specialty Christmas ornaments, first class ironing business and even using her Bingo connections to sell hand made dolls. She was truly en entrepreneur with a unique style all her own. But she would likely tell you she was a mother and homemaker first.
She is survived by 3 living children, David A. King Santa Cruz, Jon W. Fenton Sacramento and Michael L. Fenton Santa Cruz. Her daughter Carol precedes her in death in 1996. She also has 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints/ Capitola Ward. We will miss her greatly. Memorial services are being held privately.

I FELT IT WAS TIME TO WRITE, I TALK TO YOU ALL THE TIME BUT EVEN THOUGH I DONT HEAR YOUR VOICE OUTLOUD YOUR WORDS ARE ALWAYS THERE.YOU RAISED US WELL! Hi GMA. I have been thinking about you a lot this week. I miss you so much. I wish you could see Conner, he is getting so big he started crawling on his hands and knees two weeks ago. he would love you. I'm sure your watching down on him right now. I LOVE YOU GRANDMA.

Mom, it will be one year since we lost you and you made your way to heaven.
I am sure that this has been the most enjoyable year that you ever experienced but for us here, it has been empty without you.
Today is your youngest childs birthday and even though it is not mine it makes me stop and think of you and miss you that much more.
I am sure you looking down on Mike today and you are very proud of him as well as the rest us us that you helped bring into this world.
Tell Dad, Carol, Granpa and Grandma we all miss them as well.

Hi Mom Conner and Ryanne are HOME, Conner is just wonderful. Bright and Well Behaved. Tomorrow is my big day. We go Public, I have worked very hard as you know. Jay and Pat wanted me to play a show, I had to decline due to priorities. How we change if only allowed, not be judged along the way, growing into life's terms, not someone conditions that are ever changing like the world around us. Mother you taught me well. Mother. Ryanne and Conner are coming HOME. Yesterday I (Joyous Syzygy Inc.) received the seller's permit. So everything is ready to go for opening Earth Day. As I was looking for a tack to hang the seller's permit, I saw an old Greeting Card on my bulletin board, thinking it has hung long enough, not even remembering whom I received it from. Mother, it was the Last Birthday Card you had gave me 08/02/07. You left us 08/08/07. It is the most meaningful card that I have ever received, I recall you giving it to me now with great importance, saying "Read this carefully Michael(Son)" You signed it (with your famous small font only detectable under an electronic Microscope)"Read this good, it's all I wish and hope for you. I Love You very much. Do good Love Mom." Well needless to say, the card will remain where it hung. Mom I'll still use the Tack for my Permit. I received this with such a strong feeling of missing you, only I can fathom the depth of how these moments of coincidence makes me feel. And how I feel Humble as I pin it to my wall. Knowing now that all my failures were not failures at all. Only the wrong way about doing what one does. Thank You Mother. Say Hi to Dr. Sepe for me and tell him Thank You!

Mom,
I have found myself missing you tremendously as time goes by.
I still pick up the phone to call you and see how you are doing but I am able to stop myself a little quicker now before the line begins to ring.
I watched one of the TV shows that both you and I love, Ghost Whipser, the other night and it makes me think what is really able to happen.
Alec misses you so much and he still thinks that you and your cats have moved far away. When the time comes in the future, when he is able to understand, then I will tell him what really transpired.

Mom,
Your birthday was yesterday and all day long I missed you so.
I wanted to call you but I knew you would not answer. I wanted to write in this guestbook yesterday but It was too sad for me to do so.
This is the first birthday that I could not call you and say...I Love You!
Yesterday a new tradition began. I decided that I would ask my brothers if we could begin a new tradition each year by calling each other no matter where we are and wish Mom a happy birthday together in our telephone calls.
This is a way that Mom would not only know that her sons remembered her birthday and love her, but also that her sons still love each other as well.
Mother, I miss you so very much and it is very hard at times to not hear your voice when it is much needed.
You were my mother and my best friend and I will always love you.
I miss you and can't wait until we are together again. What I would give for one more hug and a kiss.
