On June 21, 2021, Kimberly K. Alexander, passed away at age 59 after a brief battle with cancer. She was able to rest peacefully in her last days surrounded by her loving family in the comfort of her mothers home in Santa Maria, CA.

Kimberly was an exceptional, beautiful, kind, loving, brave, and generous mother.

She cared deeply for her family and treated neighbors as such. She filled our lives with love, laughter, and joy. She taught her children to love God and love others, to be generous with everything, and to cherish the small things. She did this not out of obligation, but because of who she was.

Kimberly was born and raised in Santa Maria and served in her community in many ways. Kimberlys career path led her to work at Righetti High School as a special education teacher, she opened DW's American Bistro, a restaurant that served Santa Maria from 2006-08, and as a lifelong educator, she started a company working with students with special needs that continues her legacy. She always ensured that every child who crossed her path was safe, healthy, and happy.

While she leaves behind a hole in our lives that can never be filled, we know we will be with her again.

Kimberly is survived by her mother Arlene Brown, her sister, Kassy, her daughter, Amanda, her son, Christopher, her first grandson Oliver, as well as her Great Aunt Peggy Johnson and her daughters, Cheryl and Karyn, and their families.

Services will be held at Cornerstone Church in Santa Maria, CA (on Bradley Rd.) on July 2nd, 2021, at 1:00pm. Please contact the family through the Dudley-Hoffman Mortuary for more information.
