Beth Ann Redell, 55, of Erie, IL, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Beth was a fighter and battled lung cancer for the past 4 years. Services were held at 12:00 pm Sunday, December 17, 2023 at Newton Zion Reformed Church, 10465 Frog Pond Rd, Erie, IL. Visitation was from 3 pm - 7 pm Saturday at Gibson- Bode Funeral Home, Erie. Burial was in Kingsbury Cemetery, Erie. Memorials may be made to the family.
Beth was born in Clinton, IA, on June 17, 1968, to James and Beverly (Temple) Naftzger. She graduated from Erie High School in 1986. She married Kyle Redell on March 11, 1988. Beth worked as an administrative assistant for Mercy Medical Center in Clinton, IA.
She enjoyed camping down at the Fenton Boat Club, spending time with the Golden Vines, devoting time in Gods word with her beloveds, and most of all being an Oma to her two grandkids David & Scarlett. She valued her companionship with Chevy her black lab.
Beth is survived by her parents, Jim and Beverly Naftzger of Erie, IL; husband Kyle; daughters Katie (David Jr.) Johns, Tampico, IL, Sydney (Dustin) Forbes, Rock Falls, IL; brothers Neil (Krista) Naftzger, DeKalb, IL, Jeff (Shelly) Naftzger, Prophetstown, IL; sister Lisa (Robert) Deines, Port Byron, IL; and grandchildren David Johns III, and Scarlett Beth Johns. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Peter & Flora Temple and Warren & Ruth Naftzger.
