I am so sorry to learn of Kelli's passing. I remember sitting and talking with her at a soccer game of Russ & Chip's. She had just finished college and was talking of her summer plans. I know you are proud of her accomplishments in her much too short time with you. She was a very bright, happy girl and I always remember her smiling. Know that you brought as much joy to her life and she did to yours. May God bless your family and you are all in our thoughts and prayers.

"When somebody dies, a cloud turns into an angel and flies up to tell God to put another flower on a pillow. A bird gives the message back to the world and sings a silent prayer that makes the rain cry. People disappear, but they never really go away. The spirits up there put the sun to bed, wake up the grass, and spin the Earth in dizzy circles. Sometimes you can see them dancing in a cloud during the daytime when they're supposed to be sleeping. They paint the rainbows and also the sunsets and make waves splash and tug at the tide. They toss shooting stars and listen to wishes. And when they sing windsongs, they whisper to us, "Don't miss me too much. The view is nice, and I'm doing just fine."

Like so many, I have been saddened over the loss of your dear Kelli. Kelli was a unique young woman. Even though I did not know her well, there was one attribute that has left a lasting impression upon me. She exemplified kindness and compassion to everyone, young and old, through her words and actions at school, work, church, and especially at home. Her essence of kindness was a passport that opened many doors, softened hearts, and molded relationships that will last forever. May you continue to feel of the joy, the peace, her love, and her Christlike kindness is my prayer for each of you.

Kelli and I grew up together through The Baptist Church of Beaufort. We were roommates on most of the trips we took with the youth group. Although I have so many fond memories of mission trips, youth camps, choir performances, and other church activities, our friendship went far beyond those. I thank God for allowing us to have the special friendship that we shared. I love her and will miss her very much.

I'd like to express my deepest sympathies to your family. I had been praying throughout Kelli's time in the hospital and continue to pray for the family's grief and loss. To loose a young woman with so much potential at such a young age is difficult to believe. It makes me count my blessings in life and only hope for the best in the future. We were deeply saddened to learn of Kelli's passing. We had not heard of her illness and were extremely shocked. The last time I saw Kelli was when your family lived on Callawassie Island. We have fond memories of her and the rest of the family at the pool, halloween trick-or-treating, and Kelli babysitting our children on Callawassie. She was a very bright and responsible young lady who had such a wonderful personality. She was a beautiful person on the outside...but most of all she had the inner beauty which truly made her a very special young lady. As I read the other guest book entries, I could see how her dedicated faith had shined through as she touched other young people's lives. She will live on in all of our hearts. I met Kelli once, with her roomate Lori, at Memorial.She occupied the same hospital room as my father and aunt.She had a great smile for someone in such a perilous situation.I can only imagine that is how she approached any other ordeals in her short life.Know that she is in Heaven with God Almighty, and Jesus, her Savior.God Bless.
