Even though I live in New York, Mom always made me feel as if I was part of their family. I am truly blessed to have known her all these years. Her strong loving heart and smile was always at the ready to make all of us smile and enjoy life. I loved being in her company. I will never forget you Mom and love you very much. Thank You for being a part of our lives. Love You Always, Toni (Ozone Park, NY)

My memories of Aunt Myra are tied to Thanksgiving. When we would come up from Florida, either we would see her when we went to Grandpa Mac's filling station, or when she came to visit Nana. I will always remember her smile, her voice, and her kindness. I'm sure she's now someone's guardian angel. Jim McDonald ( James)

While I met my Granny only a handful of times during my families visit from NY, I was blessed to have been in the presence of a fun loving and strong Southern lady. There are a lot of fond memories I have of my Granny and there are things that I loved. One in particular was her Southern accent. Being from NY, I loved hearing her talk. Another thing was her awesome ability to cook delicious food. Yummy Souther cooking. Some fond memories I have include sitting around the dining table eating Klondike bars and cake. Also, going to the beach and hearing her joke about how Grandday loved to take surprise pictures. She will be missed. I wish I could have known her a little more. One thing I am happy about was that my wife and daughter got to meet her. Love you Granny!

We are so sorry for your loss. Aunt Myra was a very special person and friend. We are so glad that we could attend her 90th birthday party. It was such a happy time. It was so good to be with her, the extended family and old friends. And we are so sorry that we cannot be with you all for her funeral. We are both having some health issues that prohibit traveling that far at this time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Harvey and Ellen. Fishersville, VA
