JOHN FOGLE Obituary

JOHN "LEE" FOGLE
Age 88, passed away at Redlands Comm. Hospital on Aug. 12, 2015. He was born and reared in El Paso, TX, where he was an outstanding athlete both in high school and at UTEP where he played guard in two Sun Bowl games. He was in the Army during the Korean War and then joined the Air Force as a pilot, and even survived a mid-air collison.
Lee was a life member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity, two Masonic Lodges, Al Maleika Shrine, Redlands Shrine Club, and San Bernardino Scottish Rite also he was active in CA Order of Rainbow where he served as "Dad" to 80 Grand Officers as OTTERPOP. He was a member of Redlands First Baptist Church where he had been moderator. Everyone whever knew him called him the "perfect friend and gentleman".
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Virginia, and his children Tad Fogle (Michelle) of Fallbrook, CA, and daughter Sara Fogle and her son, Justin who lived with him in Redlands, and Frank Estrada (of Michigan) who Lee reared as his own son, too. There will be a private celebration of Lee's life with a family gathering on Fri., Aug. 21st evening. His ashes will be scattered over the New Mexico mountains.
