Margaret Mitchell Obituary

Margaret "Peggy" Mary Mitchell, 89, of Allentown, passed away Monday in St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown.
She was the wife of the late Myles Mitchell.
Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Lillian Cunningham Fink.
Peggy was a lab technologist at Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown, for 25 years before retiring in 1983.
She was a member of Cathedral of St. Catharine of Siena, Allentown.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Paul and Joseph Fink.
Surviving are a sister, Loretta, wife of Joseph Hartman, North Wales.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in Cathedral of St. Catharine of Siena Church, 18th and Turner streets, Allentown. Calling hour will be 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. Monday at Robert C. Weir Funeral Home, 18th and Turner streets, Allentown. Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale.

Mitchell Family,
As you know Peg and Myles were long time residents of the Episcopal House and had a great many friends here. When Myles passed away Peg was very lonely without him. But she always had that spirit and twinkle in her eye that i believe kept her strong. Your entire family was just wonderful. I'm sorry for your loss but I'm sure Peg and Myles are delightfully happy now.

Our Aunt Peggy will be missed by all. She is now with her God in heaven, she is also with the one she loved most, our Uncle Myles, along with her Mom & Dad, her brothers, Paul & Joseph, her sister in law cele, and her dear sister Mary, who she loved dearly.She will now be the angel on the shoulders of Paul, Gerry, Erin and the girls, who took such good care of her through the loneliest time of her life, life without her Myles.
Peggy was surrounded with love from all her nieces and nephews from one end of the country to the other end. We will all miss her. May she rest in peace.
