Anthony Bauer Obituary
Tony grew up in Portsmouth, N.H. After high school he attended The University of New Hampshire and went on to serve in the United States Navy after which he settled in Wolfeboro, N.H., where he raised his daughter, Jessica.
A Master Carpenter, Tony thrived in his trade in Hilton Head, S.C., where he resided for many years. He will be remembered fondly as a loving Father, Brother and Uncle.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Jessica M. Bauer, of Costa Mesa, Calif.; his three brothers Gary A. Bauer and his wife, Martha of McAllister, Mont., Michael F. Bauer of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Gregory Bauer and his wife, Nicole of North Hampton, N.H.; his three sisters, Michele M. Zaremba and her husband Jack of Acton, Mass., Nancy Lively and her husband Chris of Newton, Mass., and Elaine S. Melhourn and her husband Michael of Kittery Point, Maine. He was a proud and fun loving Uncle to Kyle and Tristan Williams, Michael and Helen Zaremba and Adrienne and Arianna Luceri. He will be dearly missed.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents Frederick J. and Adrienne H. Bauer; his sisters Dr. Suzann E. Bauer-Luceri and Gail A. Bauer-Williams.
SERVICES: Interment will be private.

My sympathy to Michael and his family . I guess I always knew Portsmouth would never remain your home, and that the sea would always call you. I am glad that Tony was close to you; your family has suffered way too many losses.

My thoughts are with the Bauer family. I was a friend of Michael. I remember how important family was to the Bauers, and I remember Michael and how much he loved his brothers and sisters. It's been years since I have seen you, Michael, but my thoughts are with you tonight having just been called by Sue Webb Cunningham, informing me of this sad news. We always wondered where you ended up, and always knew it would be someplace in the sun, probably sailing on some yacht. So sorry for these cloudy days with the lose of your dear brother, Tony.
