My deepest sympathy to the Hardy Family. Art was so special to me growing up. On our many trips to Seattle from Butte we would always visit with Art and Irene. Seems like just yesterday. In later years Art and Irene made many trips back to Butte to visit my parents, Rich and Wilman Holman. Art & Irenes visits meant so much to my parents in later years when they could no longer make it out to Seattle. Art was such a great guy he will be sadly missed by all who had the opportunity to know him. I know I feel that my life has been made just a little better for having known him. Sorry I couldn't make it out for the funeral but I will be out to see you at a later date.

It is with heavy heart that we offer our heartfelt condolences in the loss of Art. We can only concentrate on the fact that he is in a better place, his suffering is over, and he is with his beloved Irene.

We remember Art as a joking and fun loving friend. Our future trips to Seattle will always be missing something.

I pray that God will grant the Hardy family peace and understanding in their terrible loss.

Art,

You will be missed. You were always a great supporter to both the Freewheelers and the Single Stars Square Dance Clubs. You added a lot to both clubs.

Our condolences to your family.

We are greatly saddened at the loss of Art. The only condolence is he is a better place with his beloved wife, Irene.

We remember Art as a fun loving person. Elmer and I spent many enjoyable visits with Art and Irene. It was always fun to be with them, and compare notes about "the kids".

Something will always be missing in our visits to Seattle. Art will be greatly missed by us.

Our extreme condolences go to the Arthur Hardy family. May God bless you with peace and understanding in his loss.

We'll miss you Uncle Art....but you've left each of us so many memories! I remember when you paid the mortgage off on your home on Meridian Ave. You and Aunt Irene celebrated with a big bonfire to burn the mortgage papers!!! That was probably in the early 40's! You and my Dad, Del, were always so close. I remember you helped Dad so much when he wasn't able to do for himself; he had the ideas and you'd bring them to life...you two were quite a pair! I had hoped one day I could square dance with you...that would have been fun! I'm glad I was part of your life and you of mine. In loving memory, your niece, Ruth Ann

I once told Art that "he was more like my Dad than my own Dad".i thought he was going to cry when i said that. For all the many years that he was my father-in-law, i had only the utmost respect for him. he always seemed to know a little about everything and could always figure out how to fix it if it was broken. if when i ever felt "in a bad mood" or "had a Problem", he was the one i went to for help. and he always had the answer. i know he will be welcome in heaven by God's open arms as he was the perfect example of a darn near perfect person. God Bless you Art.

Great memories of storys told about grampas motorcycle deliveries on old dirt roads with the wind and rain coming down from all sides, sounds like the trip I took when I passed through Seattle and grampa told me which route to take through Canada on my bike by myself. Lots of memories that I will tell to my children and grandchildren. Grampa had the life that most people can only dream of.Grandpa is probably calling a square dance with Grandma and then its off to the big golfcoarse were all your shots are a hole in one.We Love you Grandpa , Randy and family P.S. Thanks for passing down your keen common sense and your great smile.
