
 Erling MADSEN Erling Madsen passed peacefully on June 26th, 2010 at Evergreen Hospice in Kirkland, WA at the age of 76. He was born in Plentywood, MT on Sept. 18, 1933. His parents were Hans & Karen Madsen. He married his high school sweet heart in 1956 and they lived all over the USA while Erling was in the Air Force. Erling worked as a pilot for Northwest Orient Airlines from 1966 until his retire ment in 1993. Erling was a gentle soul, kind and compassionate. He had a passion for cycling, hunt ing, cars (Porsche & Audi), and sports. He was a life long fan of the Boston Red Sox. He loved spending time with his grand- children. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ardella, daugh ter Kirsten Madsen, of Bellevue, son Kent Madsen and his wife Amy, of Kirkland, and 4 grand children. Nicole Madsen, Jake, Luke & Cole Madsen. He was preceded in death by son Todd Madsen. Memorial services will be held on July 8th at 1:00 p.m. at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, 2650 148th Ave. SE, Bellevue, WA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Northwest Parkinson's Foundation, 400 Mercer Street, Seattle, WA 98109.
