Gillis Edward Reavis

Age 62. A long-time resident of Seattle, WA. Passed away too soon on Saturday, February 2nd, 2019, after a challenging battle with a traumatic brain injury that induced Posterior Cortical Atrophy. Born on December 21st, 1956, in Terrell, Texas, Gil was a beloved husband of 37 years to Sally Balcom Reavis; proud father of Henry (Hank) Reavis; and brother to Dick J (Miriam Lizcano) Reavis of Dallas, Texas, and Joe Reavis of Allen, Texas. A memorial service will be held at a future date. Gil's family encourages donations made in Gil's memory to the Brain Injury Alliance of Washington, Puget Sound Guitar Workshop, the Alzheimer's Association, Olympic Park Associates or the National Outdoor Leadership School.
