Jeanette Shepherd Obituary

Jeanette SHEPHERD Age 82, beloved wife of Charles and loving mother to Sue, Mark and Dean, passed away on May 28, 2007. She was born on September 13, 1924 to Paul and Iva Crutchfield in Versailles, Kentucky. An Edmonds resident since 1956, Jeanette was a volunteer of the Stevens Hospital Auxiliary, and a member of the Lions Club Auxiliary, commonly called the "Lady Lions." She enjoyed gardening, travel, reading, and her granddaughters, family and friends. Jeanette is survived by her three children, Sue (Steve) Jamieson of Edmonds, Mark (Mary) Shepherd of Concord, Calif., and Dean (Amy) Shepherd of Edmonds; grandchildren, Jennifer, Teresa, and Megan Jamieson, Kelly (Dan) Martin, and Carrie Shepherd; and two great grandsons, Benjamin and Nathaniel Martin. She is also survived by her two sisters, Dolores Crutchfield and Annette Louis and numerous nieces and nephews in Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Charles W. Shepherd in 2004. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 9, 2007, at Beck's Garden Chapel, 405 - 5th Ave. S, Edmonds, (425) 771-1234 with a Committal following at Edmonds Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be given to the Edmonds Aid Car Fund, or to Group Health Hospice.
