Margaret Davis Obituary
Margaret Anne Morin Davis, beloved Mother of 5 daughters, passed away in Seattle, January 3, 2018 at the age of 96 after a long illness. She is survived by her 5 daughters Dana, Kathi, Kennan, Suzanne, & Megan & 3 grandchildren Travis, Robbie, & Melissa.
Mom was born to SG & Stella Morin in Spokane, WA on September 3, 1921 & eldest of 2 brothers Bill & Dan. Mom's Father paved his way from Quebec, Canada to Spokane starting his General Contracting business which survived 100 years. SG was one of the founders of the local Humane Society in Spokane & gave Mom her first puppy.
Her parents believed in education; she & her brothers graduated from WSU. It was here that Mom met her husband KG Davis who graduated with doctorate in veterinary medicine. They moved to Aberdeen, WA & started their practice.
Mom was known for her vivacious personality. She was a voracious reader, gifted ballet dancer & loved culture & literature. Mom was a loving Mother who spotted her daughters' talents.
We miss our Mom who will be laid to rest along side her Mother in Spokane at Holy Cross Cemetery. A Memorial will be held in Spokane Summer, 2018. Donations are appreciated in lieu of flowers & can be sent to the Seattle Humane Society.
