Martha Sturm Obituary
Martha married Robert Sturm October 15, 1960, he preceded her in death in 1992.
She is survived by her children Diane (Glenn) Sterner Jr. of Pewamo, Brenda Wood of Newaygo, Deborah Sturm of Maryland and Robert (Amanda) Sturm Jr. of Mason; Nine Grandchildren; Three Great grandchildren; Brothers Joseph (Debbie) Majinska of Eagle, George (Sue) Majinska of Lowell; Sister Jane (Ken) Gasper of Belding; Brother in law Ron Bergeron of Standish; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Husband Robert; Brother Richard and Beth Majinska; Sister Mary Bergeron; and baby grandson Josh Reeder.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 26, 2015 at Noon at the Lake Funeral Home in Ionia with Pastor Greg Gladding officiating. Interment Lyons Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday 4-7 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Those wishing may make memorial contributions to American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association. Martha you were my friend, confidant, and big sister. We had some really great times together. You were someone who looked for the best in everyone and seldom had a bad thing to say. I am so sorry that I let myself drift from you over the last couple of years. But, I know you understand. You were supposed to live to 86 to see the farm be declared Centennial. Instead you decided you'd had enough waiting to be with Bob again. God bless and keep you my friend, I will miss you.
