Reste was instrumental in the formation and early years of the California Fuel Cell Partnership. He was incredibly supportive, finding ways to make change and new ideas come to fruition. I have many fond memories and am very grateful for the years we worked together. Rest in peace.

In the summer of 1997, Anne and Reste were very gracious to host me in their home for two months while I was doing an internship for graduate school. I will always remember the conversations I had with Reste while eating a Noah's bagel in the morning or having a beer after work. He had such an easy way about him. Reste is loved by many and admired by all. He will be missed very much. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Anne and the rest of the family.

Love,
Jon, Laurie, Jake, and Peyton

Uncle Reste was a prince of a man. I will always cherish my memories of going to Oakland A's games, Disneyland, and dim sum with him. He was funny, gentle, and a family man in every way. He has always been a role model for me as a father and businessman. He is in the very select group of the greatest men I have known.

My family will pray for him and Anne, Josh, Andrea, & Bella. You are all wonderful people and I am honored to have been a part of your lives. We were all fortunate to know him and he will never be forgotten.

All our love & deepest condolences,

Paolo, April, Nicolo, & Cal
