1927 - 2015
Born and raised in San Francisco, Yvonne lived her life with style -- as a saleswoman at I. Magnin showcasing the fashions she loved; as a member of the Peninsula Golf & Country Club competing on the links; as a friend who knew how to enter a room Auntie Mame-style with her perfectly coiffed hair and cheerful, boisterous laugh. Yvonne passed away peacefully on February 2 at the age of 87. She was preceded in death by her mother Bedelia, her father Ernest and her brother Edwin. She is survived by family and friends, including her loving cousin, Beverly, who oversaw her care in recent years. Yvonne's family also expresses gratitude to the wonderful attention she received at The Magnolia in Millbrae. A service will be held in her honor at Sneider & Sullivan & O'Connell's at 977 S. El Camino Real in San Mateo on Saturday, February 7 at 11 AM.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
