Steve Hoffman Obituary
Steven D. Hoffman, Sr. age 50, of Sheboygan, passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 10, 2013
Steve was born Aug. 1, 1963 to the late Harold and Marion (Bower) Hoffman. He attended sheboygan schools, graduating from South High in 1982. He also attended Lakeland College.
Huffy was an avid sports fan, especially enjoying the Packers, Badgers, Brewers and Bucks. He played football at Sheboygan South and softball with the S.S.A. He shot pool in the Sheboygan Pool League for many years.
Steve is survived by his children, Amanda Jefferson, Samantha and Steven Jr., and their mother, Tina Hernickle. Four grandchildren, Tyrel, Elijah, Charlotte, and Sophia. Brothers Mike (Toni) of Merrill, Mark of Menasha, and sister, Kaye of Rhinelander. He is further survived by Linda Hasslinger, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as many, many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held at Grace Episcopal Church 1011 N. 7th St. on Saturday Dec. 21st, at 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at 11:00 A.M. A gathering to celebrate Steve's life will follow immediately after the service at the church. We also encourage you to wear your favorite sports apparel in honor of Steve.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking that memorials be made at the service.

My deepest condolences to all of Steve's family and friends. My heart breaks for his children and grandchildren. I will always miss him and hold dear the memories he and I shared. He was always kind, thoughtful and respectful to me. He was protective, too. Many a time I complained about this, exclaiming, "I already have a father! This did not deter him one little bit. Keeping all of you, and Steve, in my heart.

Huffy, you were a character. You brought a lot of joy to people through your humor. Many of us remember you from your excellent, rugged play on the football and softball fields of Sheboygan. I remember you for that but also for being a kind, lively and supportive voice in the halls of South High. You will be missed, my friend! Our condolences to your loving family. RIP, Steve.
