John Thomas Crowe, 70, of Shelbyville, passed away Saturday June 25, 2022 at his residence.
He was born May 14, 1952 in Connersville, Indiana to Gilbert Crowe and Anna Mae (Brockman) Crowe.
John graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1970.
He was employed at Freudenberg/IPC and retired after 47 years of service.
He was a member of Shelbyville Community Church.
John had a love for traveling and vacationing with his wife. He also loved gardening. John enjoyed going to his grandchildren's sporting events and cheering them on. His greatest joy came from spending time with family and loved ones.
John married Linda Diane (Conner) Crowe on May 19, 1997, spending 25 wonderful years together and she survives.
John is also survived by his son, Bryan Crowe (Danielle), son, Jeremy Crowe (Nerissa), daughter, Amber Duerstock (Tim), son, Dustin Crowe (Melissa), step-daughter, Rhonda Wright (Jimmy), step-daughter, Rebecca Hash (Jill), step-son Timothy Hash (Brandy), 22 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, sister, Billie Gore (Robin), sister, Bobbie Sandefur, sister, Jackie Owens (Ron), sister, Terri Dusenbury (Barry) along with several nieces and nephews.
John is preceded in death by his parents, great granddaughter, Madison Jo Badgley, brothers, Sonny Crowe, Oscar Crowe, Jerry Crowe, and brother-in-law, Rick Sandefur.
Visitation will be held Thursday June 30, 2022 from 3pm until 6pm at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.
Funeral services will follow with Pastor Andy Lee and Brother Bobby Conner officiating.
Funeral Directors, Greg Parks, Sheila Parks, Stuart Parks, and Darin Shutt are honored to serve John's family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the Shelby County Cancer Association, 31 Public Sq. Shelbyville, IN. 46176.
