Thomas Heffner Obituary
Born August 17, 1945 in Shelby, Heffner was the son of the late Mozon and Frances "Lucille" (Patterson) Heffner.
Thomas enjoyed spending time outdoors, walking and enjoying the scenery. He also loved going to the flea market on the weekends with members of his family. Most days you would find Thomas at the Venture House where he would spend time with his friends. While having enjoyed time with his mother, he is now by her side in Heaven. Surviving are two brothers, Johnny Lee Heffner and wife Judy of Grover, and Charles Ray Heffner of Grover; a sister, Barbara Heffner Adams and husband Jerry of Lawndale; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Richard Adams, Jerel Adams Sr., Jerel Adams II, Mikey Clack, Eric Alexander, Hal Patterson, Richard Shook and Brandon Callahan.
Visitation: Family will receive friends on Monday, July 21, 2014, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Cleveland Funeral Services and Crematory Chapel.
Funeral services: 3 p.m., Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at Cleveland Funeral Services and Crematory Chapel
Officiated by: Rev. Eugene Passmore and Rev. Steve Waters Burial: Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery
Funeral home: Cleveland Funeral Services and Crematory, Inc.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Adventure House, 924 North Lafayette Street, Shelby, NC 28150.

To Johnny,Ray,& Barbara, As we all grew up in the same neighborhood , I'll always cherish the happy memories of my visits to your home.As kids we had lots of fun there and Tommy was always very nice to me. He was a very tender hearted person that I was blessed to know.I love all my cousins very much & share your grief for your loss.
