SHREVEPORT, LA - Services for Jerry Pat Robinson, Sr. will be 2 p.m. Friday, March 9, 2012 at Union Springs Baptist Church in Converse, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Dick Enterkin. His final resting place will be in Union Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service Friday, beginning at 10 a.m. at the church.

Jerry Robinson was born August 28, 1936 to Roy and Maddie Robinson in Taylorsville, MS and passed away on March 5, 2012 at Westwood Manor Nursing Home in Shreveport, LA after a short illness. He worked most of his life as a lineman and later in life did some security work for AT&T. Jerry loved to fish and his favorite sport was football.

His parents and a sister, Ruth Rogers preceded him in death.

Jerry is survived by seven children; sons, Jerry Pat Robinson, Jr., William Mark Robinson, John Roy Robinson and wife Jessica, Chris Robinson; daughters, Louise Hatcher and husband George, Joy Ingram and husband Danny and Donna Satterfield and husband Shane; grandchildren, Holly Hatcher Avila, Brandy Joy Ingram, Jay Ingram, David Ingram, Zachary Robinson, Kyle Robinson, Carrigan Burrell, Leigh Rose, Joel Rose, Gavyn Robinson, Ian Robinson, Taylor Golla; great grandchildren, Madeline Lynn Ingram, Ashlyn Denea Ingram, Whitney Kay Ingram, Jacob Blake Johnson, Andrew David Johnson, Tanner Chase Johnson, Austin Faith Bass, Javanna McNeil, Jada Walton, Justin Thomas; brother, Dan Robinson; sister, Royleen Robinson, both of MS and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Honoring Jerry as pallbearers will be Mark Robinson, John Robinson, Chris Robinson, George Hatcher, Danny Ingram and Shane Satterfield. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Pat Robinson, Jr., Jay Ingram, David Ingram, Kyle Robinson, Zach Robinson, Leigh Rose and Joel Rose.
