Kelly Rowan May 2, 1957 - December 16, 2008

KEITHVILLE, LA - Kelly Ray Rowan, age 51, son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend passed away on December 16, 2008, in Shreveport, LA after a long illness. He was born on May 2, 1957 at Schumpert Memorial Hospital to his loving parents Kenneth and Paula Rowan of Kingston, LA. He was preceded in his death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Rowan of Ben Wheeler, TX and Mr. and Mrs Jody McAlister of Van, TX.

He was blessed with two daughters, Christy Reynolds and Kelly Wagg, both of Keithville as well as five grandchildren. Kelly is also survived by sister, Lea Ann Breen, sister Dana Favrot, her husband John as well as his nieces, Jodie Semon of Bossier City and Emily Favrot and nephews, Kenneth and Zachary Favrot of Shreveport.

Kelly was a resident of Keithville, La and attended Baron Road Baptist Church in Keithville, Louisiana. He loved animals and the outdoors. One of his favorite past times was fishing on his parents farm.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm in Canton, TX at the Haven of Memories Cemeteries on Thursday December 18, 2008. The family will receive friends for visitation prior to the service.

The family wishes to thank the Critical Care nursing staff at Willis Knighton South for their care and support during this difficult time.
