Robert Richardson Obituary
GRAND CANE, LA--Funeral services honoring the life of Robert "Bob" Richardson, 84, will be at 10:00 AM Friday, May 12, 2017 at Grand Cane United Methodist Church in Grand Cane, LA with Reverend Kathy Fitzhugh officiating. Burial will follow at Grand Cane Cemetery in Grand Cane, LA.
Bob was born on October 23, 1932 to John and Irene Richardson and entered into rest on May 8, 2017. After graduation in 1955 from LSU with a degree in Dairy Science, he ran his own dairy farm in, Desoto Parish, for over 30 years until his retirement. He was a loving husband, father and grand-daddy.
Preceding Robert in death are his parents, John and Irene Richardson; his in-laws, Richard and Phyllis Hosey; son, Robert Hosey Richardson; daughter, Leah Saloom; and brothers, Ted Richardson and Lewis Richardson.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 60 years, Marsha Richardson; sons, Patrick Richardson and his wife Nanci, Robert Richardson and his wife Jennifer; daughters, Rickey Howe, Danna Boudreaux and her husband Mark, Amy Bailey and her husband Hugh; son-in-law, Kaliste Saloom; 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Honoring the life of Bob as pallbearers will be his grandsons, Brad Saloom, Joseph Saloom, Thomas Saloom, Scott Saloom, Matthew Bailey, Steven Bailey, Brendon Richardson, and Addison Richardson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Forget, Mike Rives, and Ed Chaffin.
