Robert Zahn Obituary
SHREVEPORT, LA- Funeral services for Robert Francis Zahn, 89, will be held at 12 noon Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel with Rev. Al Van Dyke officiating. Interment will follow with full military honors presented by the U.S. Navy in Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 6, 2013 at the funeral home.
Robert was born on March 13, 1924 in Dover, DE and passed away in Shreveport on September 4, 2013. He was a resident of Shreveport and a retired petroleum design supervisor for Brown and Root Inc. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed golfing, playing on the computer, the saxophone, the Astros Baseball Team, football and his dog, Rosie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Jennyl Zahn; daughter, Nancy Comeaux, sons, Jerry and Brandon Zahn. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Juanita Zahn; sons, David Zahn and wife, Karen, Wendy McCurry and husband, Mike, Melanie Saines, and husband, Mike, Karen Stahl, Robin Vosbury and wife, Karla, Keith Vosbury and wife, Nicole; 19 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Chris Vosbury, Tyler Vosbury, Cole Vosbury, Andrew Walker, Mike Saines and Mike McCurry. Honorary pallbearer is David Vosbury

In behalf of my part of the Musical Jericho Family our hearts go out to the entire Zahn Famuly and especially to Mrs Zahn that we know as Nita Lynn, the singer/musician. This also goes out to his grandson, Cole Vosbury who has made it to the finals on The Voice. I am sure he would have been proud.Prayers and condolences to the Zahn Family.
