William Bullock Obituary
Shreveport - William Harry Bullock, 64, of Shreveport, LA, passed away, Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at Willis-Knighton Medical Center in Shreveport, LA, after a sudden illness.
Bill was a native and lifelong resident of Shreveport. He attended Broadmoor Baptist kindergarten, one of the only schools to accept special needs children at that time, and Summer Street School. Bill was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Shreveport, although after the death of his mother, attended Broadmoor Baptist Church where he enjoyed the special needs Sunday School class and their many activities. Bill worked at the Caddo-Bossier Association for Retarded Citizens for 45 years.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred William Bullock and Carolyn Deal Bullock. He is survived by his brothers, Donald Lee Bullock Sr. (Claire) and James Alfred Bullock (Virginia/Cissy); nephews, Bradden James Bullock (Rachel) and Donald Lee Bullock Jr.; nieces, Jaimee Bullock Mercer (Kyle) and Kirby Bullock Li (Scott); and many other family members and friends.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to long time caregivers Patty Linder and Patrick Veal.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 until 6:00 pm, Sunday, November 25 at Osborn Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 10:00 am, Monday, November 26, 2018, in the Chapel of Osborn Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Park Cemetery. Officiating will be Dr. Tom Harrison, of Broadmoor Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Mercer, Scott Li, Rick Raney, Custus Raney, Tommie Brooks and Gary McCormick.
The family requests that memorials be made in lieu of flowers to Broadmoor Baptist Church, 4110 Youree Drive, Shreveport, LA 71105.

I had the privilege of working with Bill at the workshop many years ago. He was a sweet person with a dry sense of humor. I always enjoyed working with his mother and appreciated her contributions to the agency. I did not see him much in the last few years but always enjoyed catching up with him as I did at the award ceremony this past year. My condolences to all of the Bullock family. I know that he was loved by all of us and will be missed.

I still remember many occasions when your sweet dad would come by my house to discuss legal matters with my mom, with your mother and Bill in tow. I am so sorry for your loss, may God wrap his loving arms around you and give you peace and comfort at this time.
