Arthur Herman Obituary
He was a graduate of North Union High School, class of 1955, served as a paratrooper in the 11th Airborne Division 188th combat team, served as a Pennsylvania Conservation Officer, and retired from state service as a Criminal Investigator at I.U.P., with thirty-three years of state service.
Married in 1957 to Carolyn (Sybert) Herman who preceded him in death in 2001. Surviving is 1 daughter, Pamela J. (Kurt) Scott, of Homosassa, FL; 2 sons, Arthur J. (Leslie J.) Herman, of Sigel, PA; Shawn L. (Brandy J.) Herman, of Home, PA; 9 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is his sister Betty Hudak of Ohio.
He is preceded in death by 1 sister Helen Duttko.
Family and friends were received on Thursday, September 17, 2015, at the McKinney – d'Argy Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Brookville, PA, 15825. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18, 2015, also at the McKinney – d'Argy Funeral Home with the Rev. Jess Shingler officiating. Interment was at the Coolspring Cemetery in Oliver Twp., Jefferson Co. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Christian Covenant Community Church, 712 Winding Rd., Orangeville, PA, 17859.

Hi my name is Tom Barber and I had the privledge of taking Art to his doctors appointments as the driver of the courtesy van . I had many conversations with Art over the past several months and I really enjoyed talking to him. Art had a great sense of humor I offer my condolences on his passing and I will miss him.
