He even dabbled in some acting. Performing roles in "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers", "Lil' Abner", and "Oklahoma". Dave was always ready with a smile, a witty quip, and a helping hand. He will be sorely missed by his family and many friends. See you opening night Dave.

Dave is survived by his parents, Debbie & Rick Mumford of Sedro-Woolley. His father, Doug Greer of Kirkland. Three siblings, Matt Mumford and his fiancé, Tonya Scott and Holly Mumford of Sedro-Woolley and Dan Peck and his wife, Trish of Bothell. Hey bud. Still having a hard time with you being gone. I reached for the phone yesterday to call and tell you something I just knew you would find funny. Almost had it to my ear before reality kicked me. I miss you Dave, like a lot of other people. I think it's going to take a few of us quite a while to get past this.

Love you my friend.

I am sorry never to have met Dave's "Digger" family. I met him about three and a half years ago at my fiance, Ricky Foster's bar. He helped out there alot and became part of the family. He was sincerely appreciated and will be greatly missed. He gave me a hug one day when I was down and we laughed about how he was the best hugger. Real, sincere, and genuine. I will never forget that hug and his great smile and all the bon fire fun we had. Everyone says once you met him he was a friend for life and you liked him right away.... it's true. You are in our hearts Dave-
love,
Denise, Ricky and our son Kaiden

Dave...I still can't believe this has happened. I picked up my phone to wish you a Merry Christmas but remembered you wouldn't be there. I wish I had the chance to tell you one more time what a great man you are and how much you touched my life. To be able to say thank you one more time. I'll never forget your smile and that look in your eyes. My heart goes out to your family. I hope the pain of this loss fades quickly. I'll see you again Dave. Keep an eye out for me. <3

I grew up with David, the memories go all the way back to Evergreen Elementary. He was a great kid, and became a great man. I have lost touch with most of the people I grew up with, and memories do often fade away... but I will never forget David's smile and the way he always brightened up everyone around him. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to his family in this very difficult time.

I met Dave through the theater productions at skagit valley college. He was an instant friend. He could make me laugh any time, even when rehearsals were stressful and backstage was chaotic. He was so good at what he did and it showed. I also saw him often at one of our favorite hang outs, draft pics. He would buy me a beer and we'd chat about the latest mv ongoings. I moved to bellingham a few years ago, and had fallen out of contact, but the loss hit me just as hard. I can't believe he is gone, and my best wishes and regards go out to his family and everyone who cared about him. You will be missed Dave, hope you are happy, and looking down on all of us with that big warm smile.

I will miss Dave terribly. He was a great friend. I always felt - in a way - that I was being watched over... cause that is just the way he was. Loyal and kind, decent and hilarious. An irresistible charm - how could anyone not like him! I will miss you Dave - and I will remember you always. Save me a spot on your crew up there. It would be an honor to work with you on your crew again .....

Dave may be gone but he will never ever be forgotten. I know he's up there thinking something along the lines of "Come on guys just go out and have a beer and stop with all the crying". At some point I know we'll be able to do that but at the moment the pain is too fresh for us all. I love you Dave and will always remember you, until we meet again my sweet sweet friend please watch over us all.
