Aug. 12, 1948 - Aug. 5, 2013
PLYMOUTH - Jerry L. Daugherty, 64, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2013. He was the son of Russell W. and Dorothy M. (Reinholt) Daugherty and graduate of LaVille Jr./Sr. High School. Jerry served in Vietnam and was a self-employed painter. He is survived by two sons: Spencer L. Daugherty of Gary, IN and Shannon R. Daugherty of Osceola, IN; and a grandchild. His siblings who survive are: Donald E. (Darlene) Daugherty of Columbia City, IN, James W. Daugherty of Plymouth, Kathryn E. (Orville) Holcomb of Lowell, IN, Luther E. (Joan) Daugherty of Lowell, IN, Carolyn D. (Eurrat) Saylor of Grovertown, Robert R. (Millie) Daugherty of Argos, Harold R. (Phylliss) Daugherty of Plymouth, Tom W. Daugherty of South Bend, Vickey J. Daugherty, Jane A. (Dan) Miller, and Barbara E. (Michael) Gouker all of Plymouth; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 1 - 2 p.m. on Friday, August 16, 2013 in the New Oakhill Cemetery Chapel, Plymouth. A memorial service will immediately follow in the chapel at 2 p.m., with Military Honors.
