Terence Moore Obituary

Terence E. (Pops) Moore

Nov. 13, 1944 - April 4, 2019

GRANGER, IN - Terence was an only child adopted at the age of one by Emerit and Lucille Moore. They gave him a wonderful childhood full of happy memories. As a child Terence loved hanging out at Notre Dame where his father was employed. Terry and his beloved wife Sue spent many years parking cars for the Notre Dame football games. Terry's companion Sue of 25 years, preceded him in death in May of 2015. He is home safe with her now.

Terence attended Riley High School in South Bend graduating in 1962. He then enlisted with the U.S. Air Force and deployed to Vietnam. He also worked and retired as a custodian for the South Bend School Corporation.

Terry is survived by 3 children: Steve Moore, 43, of Phoenix, AZ; Denise, 41, (Tom) Groves of South Bend; and Daniel Moore, 39, of Denver, CO; and his grandson, Tommy Grove of South Bend.

He was loved and supported by Mary Jo and Bob Thurston, and Patrick McCullough II as well as many friends whom he considered his family in the Granger Community, including his family at Pat's Irish Pub where you would see him having lunch everyday at his favorite spot.

Terry passed, suddenly, in the morning of April 4, 2019 in his home in Granger where he lived with Angie Lupa and Chris Cole and their 4 teenage boys, Nick, Eli, Danny, and Ben who loved and cared for him dearly.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Terry (Pops, Grandpa, Ol' Man), at Pat's Irish Pub in Granger on SR 23, on Saturday, April 13 starting at 1:00pm (adults only).
