GRANGER - Vivian E. Stanton, 83, of Granger, passed away unexpectedly in her residence on June 3rd. She was born in Peru, Indiana, on December 8, 1927, to the late Elmer and Minnie (Klohne) Tolen. On March 12, 1949, she married Glen Ray Stanton, who preceded her in death. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, playing cards with friends, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially with her granddaughters. She belonged to the Homemakers Club, the Red Hat Society and Eastern Star. Vivian is survived by her sons, Jim (Marla) Stanton of Edwardsburg, MI, and Eric Stanton of Niles, MI; two granddaughters, Morgan Stanton and Becca Stanton, both of Edwardsburg. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Jim, Wayne, Leon, Miriam and Delbert Tolen. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, June 8th, from noon to 2 p.m. in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka. A service celebrating Vivian's life will be held at 2 p.m. in the funeral chapel, with Rev. Ed Erskin officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in Vivian's name to a charity of the donor's choice.

My deepest sympathy to the Stanton family. What a beautiful lady and mom, who was always gracious, friendly, and compassionate with her quests. May you find solace in her absence, knowing she will be remembered with dear fondness in the hearts of who knew her and had the blessing to meet her and her family. God's Blessings, love and peace to you in her passing.
