BAKER CLAY Obituary

BAKER "BOB" CLAY passed away May 29, 2018, at the home of his daughter and son-in-law in Daytona Beach, Florida. Bob was born July 3, 1931, the son of Clancy E. Clay and Eva Parsley Clay of Mingo County, West Virginia. Bob graduated with the Kermit High School Class of 1949. He served as a medic during the Korean War. He later received degrees in engineering from West Virginia University and the University of Pittsburgh, and he owned and operated a successful consulting firm in Annapolis, Maryland. Bob had a passion for genealogy and compiled a substantial body of work on the Clay families. He was devoted to his family and happiest when all were together. He is survived by his wife, Joan, and his daughter, Tiffany Pardo of Daytona Beach; his sister, Patricia Crandall of Niantic, Connecticut; his brother, Keith Clay of Sun City, California; his brother, Rex Clay of Charlotte, North Carolina; and 10 nieces and nephews. Burial services with military honors were held on Friday, June 1, 2018, at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, Mims, Florida.
