Michael Anthony Carpentieri Jr., 64, of Brockton, passed away Friday, October 21, 2016 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was the loving husband of Maureen Donaruma Carpentieri. Born September 17, 1952 in Wichita, Kansas he was the son of the late Michael A. and Geraldine M. (Capozzi) Carpentieri. Michael was a long time resident of Brockton and an officer of the South Middle School PAC. In addition to his wife he is survived by his sons, Michael, III and Nicholas; his siblings, MaryAnna (Carpentieri) Schmid and her husband John D., Daniel E. Carpentieri and his wife Mary and Louis O. Carpentieri; sister-in-law, Eileen Carpentieri, as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rte. 123), Brockton on Thursday at 8 a.m. thence to St. Edith Stein/St. Edward Parish, 71 East Main St., Brockton where a funeral Mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul at 9 a.m. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton.
