Francis Quinn Obituary

Francis Frank Henry Quinn, age 89, of Jupiter, Florida passed away on June 26, 2014 after a prolonged battle with congestive heart failure. Frank was the son of William and Rose Quinn, brother of William Quinn and sister, Dorothy Quinn. He was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. Frank received his Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, and master's degree in Education from Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, Massachusetts. Frank worked for 30 years for WCVB TV in Boston as an Electrical Engineer. A loving, devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Pauline Edgar Quinn, his daughter Maryellen Quinn-Lunny and her husband James Lunny of Tequesta, Florida; and sons, William Quinn and his wife MarieJosee Quinn of Jupiter, Florida; Paul Quinn and his wife Pamela Quinn of Hobe Sound, Florida; and Robert Quinn and his wife Caroline Quinn of Plymouth; along with eleven grandchildren: Amanda Quinn, Courtney Quinn, Sean Quinn, Patrick Quinn, Ryan Quinn, Kyle Quinn, Nevin Quinn, Shannon Quinn, Kara Lunny, Janel Lunny and Katie Quinn. Frank lived each day of his life with great integrity, honesty, strength, and humor. All who knew Frank appreciated his love for his wife, children and grandchildren along with his tremendous wit and intelligence. Frank was a fighter and battled many health conditions over much of his life, but never allowed this to impact his positive attitude or sense of humor. A funeral Mass will be held Thursday, Aug. 14, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, in Weymouth, Mass., followed by burial at Blue Hills Cemetery in Braintree Massachusetts.
