James Leonard
GREER, SC-- James Leonard, 76, of 1963 S. Highway 101, died January 20, 2010, at his home.
A native of Greer, son of the late William Reid and Hattie Bryant Leonard, he was a retired employee of Lyman Printing and Finishing and a member of Pineview Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, Eddie Leonard of Greer; two daughters, Pamela Preston and Donna Eller, both of Greer; a sister and brother-in-law, Vivian and Jim Langford of Greer; four grandchildren, Amy Hall, Heather Leonard, Jamie Williamson, and Jennifer Massey; eight great-grandchildren, Austin, Katelynn, Lance, Lakelan, Haley, Houston, Hanna, and Cameron; and a special friend, Carolyn Jones. Mr. Leonard was predeceased by one sister, Margaret Hewitt.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, January 22, 2010, at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Daniel Bryant. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, January 21, 2010, at The Wood Mortuary.
The family is at the home.
Memorials may be made to Journey Hospice, 420 The Parkway, Greer, SC 29650.
