She was my first grade teacher at St. Aloysuis and was forever remembered as my favorite teacher throughout all the years. I'm 62 now and can remember like it was yesterday how she greeted us in the morning by wrapping us in a big hug in those heavy black habits they used to wear. She attended my mother's funeral 45 years later and sought me out afterward to tell me that she remembered me from first grade. That's the kind of person she was. I'll always remember her.
