HOLLAND, Rae Ellen Rae Ellen Holland, 75, passed away unexpectedly in Spokane, WA on December 28, 2020. She was born May 3, 1945 to Raymond and Esther Jones in Spokane, WA, the oldest of 10 children. Rae graduated from North Central High School 1963. She married Paul Holland in July of 1966. Rae was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. One always knew what holiday was approaching as her home would be decorated for the season. She spent many hours in her park-like yard gardening, feeding wildlife and then relaxing doing her word puzzles always with a cat in her lap. She enjoyed sharing her cooking and baking with family and friends. Rae was a tireless worker with a joyful heart. All will dearly miss her infectious laugh and smile. Rae is survived by her son Billy Holland of Kellogg ID, grandson Alex Holland, sisters Sharon Preston (Chuck), Jocelyn Martin (Rick), Deborah Jones, Janet Davidson (Rick), brothers Paul Jones (Ruth) and Chris Jones, sister-in-law Patricia Jones, brother-in-law Dave Eberhart, many nieces, nephews and Rae's longtime friend Mel Reasor and his sons Wesley and Kendal. Rae was preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Esther Jones, husband Paul and daughter Diane Holland, brother Stephan Jones, sisters Marcia Eberhart and Barbara Jones. Interment was held at Fairmount Cemetery, Spokane, WA.
