Randy Osborne Obituary

OSBORNE, Randy Brian

February 21, 1956 -"
November 22, 2010

Dedicated husband, father and leader to his three surviving brothers. Randy was a man with a big heart, always willing to give a lending hand to anyone in need. He was an avid ball player; a tennis pro at Spokane Racquet Club where he was known for his incredible serve. He won the Fast Serve Contest held at the Crescent Court put on by Jantzen Sportswear and had a winning serve of 121 mph with a wooden racquet. Randy was an alumni of Whitworth College where he played baseball and played defensive back on Whitworth's football team making All Conference 1st team. He is in the hall of fame at SCC Bigfoot and was on the water polo team for Gonzaga University. In addition to playing recreational football, baseball, and slow pitch Randy has participated in city baseball and basketball leagues throughout the years. There was not a ball that did not touch his hand which included golf later in life. Randy Osborne has touched many lives with his kind heart and impeccable sense of humor, not to mention his love. He will forever be loved and never forgotten.
Randy is survived by his wife Patty Osborne, children Genna Hamilton and Mikayla and Taylore Osborne, grandchildren Khamari and Nai'lah Hamilton, brothers Terry, Michael and Russell Osborne, nieces Ashley and Marche Osborne, nephew Brandon Osborne, uncles and aunts, extended family and a host of friends. Mother Lois Osborne and brother Ricky Osborne preceded him in death.
A memorial will be held in Randy's honor at 11:00 am on December 4th, 2010 at Bethel AME, 1125 Richard Allen Ct., Spokane, Washington, 99202. A repast will be held immediately following the memorial at the Emmanuel Life Center.

I've had the pleasure to run and work with Randy the past 4 years, he was an incredible person and a brutally hard worker, always had a smile and a kind word for everyone he came across. I can only imagine the loss and grieving his family is going through, my prayers and sympathies to you and your family Patty.

Randy was truly a person of character and conviction. Always a smile, a laugh and a helping hand, wouldn't let you do him a favor unless he tried to return it at least a couple of times over. All of us R&R drivers will truly miss him.

Randy was a real competitor in sports as well as life and we know that the Lord will put him right to work teaching the Gospel to all. My whole family knew Randy and enjoyed his company and his infectious smile. He will be sourly missed by all that he befriended.
Randy was a teammate, and a rival but always a great competitor and good sport. We all grieve for your lose and wish you the best. God Bless

I have just learned of Randy's passing. Like everyone else who knew him, I am saddened today. Randy was probably my best friend in high school at Lewis and Clark. When I moved to Maui in 1975 we lost touch, but did manage to connect a couple times when he brought his lovely family for vacation. I will always remember the battles we had on the tennis and basketball courts, but mostly the times spent with a great friend. My deepest sympathy to all in the Osbourne family. Aloha Randy.
