Mr. Young was my teacher, principal, and coach during my junior high years at Green Camp. I hope the family is able to celebrate his life and take comfort in knowing that there are many like myself who remember Mr. Young as being one of those people who was a great influence on our lives.

I was very sorry to learn of the passing of my basketball coach and teacher at Green Camp High School. I have many fond memories of Coach Young. He as a great example for everything a young high school student should strive to be ... and he worked very hard to be the best mentor possible. He will be greatly missed.

We were all saddened to hear of Bud's passing. Jim and Bud spent many hours on the golf course in Texas. Also Bud, Margaret, Frankie and Jim- with Norm and Joyce play hand and foot for hours many times. Good friends make us all so happy. He will be sadly missed, but happily remembered. To the young family. Bud was a mentor to me. He let me work for him at Arrow Queen for several years and taught me the ins and outs of a business. I love your whole family. You are all such a sweet and very caring family. He will be missed! Hugs and prayers!!!!

He was a great man and will be missed very much. I enjoyed seeing him in the Industrial Arts area of Bethel in the late 70's and I worked a week at Red Bird Mission in the early 70's.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Coach Young. I was a student and a basketball player of his back in the mid 70's at Bethel HS. He taught me much more than how to read a blueprint or a mechanical drawing or X's & O's. I was blessed to have several outstanding teachers/coaches from Bethel that taught me things that have carried over into my adult life and Mr. Young was definitely one of those people. He will be greatly missed but his reward will be great for all of the golden nuggets that he planted into so many young peoples lives like mine.
