Doug, you rowed the boat across the lake, I dove off the back end and swam after swimming turtles. Love you brother.

I remember we would sneak out of Stamford High and go have lunch with our girlfriends in Darien High cafeteria. Those were the days!

Sad to hear about my old high school best friend's passing. Always smiling, always willing to help others. Spent many a night with trips to Port Chester, days skipping school and visiting friends for lunch at Darien High. Best waffle maker ever! See you at Rhapson's!

I am so sorry to hear about Doug's passing. Having played softball with him on his Heritage Kitchens team he sponsored for many years, I can say what a great man he was. He was the best sponsor, manager, teammate and friend anyone can ask for. Thoughts and prayers to the family.

Doug was a great guy, he always got his softball team uniforms from the sports stores I worked at and always had a smile on his face. I'm a Red Sox fan so you can imagine our conversations were a ton of fun killing the other's team at every opportunity. It was always fun spending time with Doug and his Mom at Heritage Kitchens, I also umpired quite a few of their games. I miss our discussions as I moved from Stamford back in the mid-90s. My prayers go to his family members. Please note that Doug was the best!!! Dante Fedeli, Arvada, CO

Doug was a friend from high school. He was a player in many pick up softball games at Springdale - a dead pull hitter and a great guy. RIP.
