Esperanza Escobar Obituary
Esperanza Escobar passed away November 19, 2014 at Stamford Hospital while surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador and immigrated to the US in 1969. Esperanza spent most of her career as an assembler in the Aerospace Industries then retired to Stamford to be with her grandchildren. She was active with The Stamford Senior Center and a parishioner at St Cecilia Church. She is survived by her husband, Pablo; one daughter, Esperanza and her husband Jeff Teasdale; 2 grandchildren, Patrick & Isabella Teasdale. In addition, she is survived by 2 brothers; Alberto & Luis; 3 sisters; Josephina, Laura & Mariarosa. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Bennett Cancer Center. Viewing will be held from 2-6PM on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Shippan's Thomas M Gallagher Funeral Home (next to Knights of Columbus) 453 Shippan Ave Stamford, CT. A prayer service will be held at 5 PM in the chapel at Thomas M Gallagher Funeral Home. Words of comfort and love may be sent to the family at www.gallagherfuneralhome.com
