Geraldine Greth Obituary
Elmira: Geraldine A. Greth was born November 15, 1942 in Elmira, NY the daughter of the late Robert and Hazel Peterson passed away Thursday, November 27, 2014 peacefully at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter Amanda C. Tuttle. She is survived by her loving husband Robert L. Greth; her children Arlan (Darcy) Tuttle, Robert (Judy) Briggs, Terrence (Kathy) Briggs, Crystal (Eugene) Ellis, and Gerald (Hope) Tuttle; along with 2 brothers, 2 sisters, several nieces and nephews, 14 grandchildren, and 34 great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY Sunday, November 30, 2014 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM. Funeral services celebrating Geraldine's life will follow the calling hours at 12:00PM. Interment will take place in Alder Run Cemetery at the convenience of her family. my niece/sister I won't forget all the good times we had for the last 70 some yrs the laughs the tears. you will never be forgotten. I sure will miss my birthday and Christmas cards could count on you for those. talking to u sharing our aches and pain stories. love you your up there with rest of the angels that went before you my Mom Dad your Mom Dad Alice n Glenn Bonnie Fritz and my love Carl so behave. We are so sorry for the loss of your sister, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and friend. I have known Gerry most of my life and have been able to call her my sister-in-law for 38 years. We could not travel there, so our body's aren't there but our hearts are with each and everyone of you. She has been Jim's big sister all of his life, I am so happy he talked to her Tuesday, as he called her once a week. We always made time to see her when in NY and took her out to eat as long as she was able. We also had the pleasure of Gerry and Pete staying a few nights with us in Pigeon Forge. She surely will be missed and we are glad she no longer has to struggle or be in pain. She will be with her parents and all of us have gained the perfect guardian angel!!!!
