Keith Freeberg Obituary
Age 60, of College Ave., Elmira, NY, passed away peacefully at home on April 14, 2008 with his loving wife, Judy Seal Snyder, by his side. Family and friends are invited to attend a Sunset Service in celebration of Keith's life on Friday, April 18, 2008, at 7:00 p.m. at The Church of Infinite Spirit, 251 Schuyler Ave., Elmira, NY, with Rev. Sharon Hairston officiating. A second celebration will take place on Saturday, April 19, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. at the Rochester Plaza Hotel (formerly Crowne Plaza), 70 State Street, Rochester, NY, where the Rev. Aloma Cason of The Church of Divine Inspiration will be officiating. Memorial donations in the name of Rev. Keith F. Freeberg Jr. may be directed to Southern Tier Hospice, 11751 East Corning Rd., Corning, NY 14830, or to the RARA Memorial Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 93333, Rochester, NY 14692. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, NY. A "Candle of Remembrance" may be left in obituaries at www.olthof.com.

My thoughts go out to his family. Keith and a group of us guys brought technology to the inner-city schools via the Radio Coaches program. Keith had the mayor converse via walkie talkies and a local repeater to a class of 6th graders.
Keith gave over 110% in helping those yearning to learn electronics.
May he rest in peace.

Keith was a good man and will be sincerely missed. He made a wonderful presentation at the Rochester Amateur Radio Assoc meeting this month detailing all of the public service events that need volunteers this year and early next. I wanted to jump up and give him a standing ovation. Something inside me told me it may be the last time I will see Keith. I'm glad I had a chance to say thank you and goodbye. 73's Keith.
