Hello... Myname is Deidre Johnson. My husband Jack works with Greg Elmore, and I also am acquainted with Carl Ratz. He was in an art class with me a year or so ago. I just wanted to send my love, and let you know that I'm praying for your family. I saw Carl at the service, but I was unable to get to (you) all to give you a hug. It is just as well, because I'm sure that it was an overwhelming day for all of you. So, I decided to send you this note, and let you know that we love you all, and are praying for all of you, and to tell you how really very sorry we are.

Greg, Belinda, and Brian:

As my family and I passed the scene on Saturday morning, we said a prayer for the families changed forever by this accident. When I found out later who the families were, it torn my heart out. Greg, not only have you been a great friend, but you are one of the most loving fathers I have ever met. When we shared stories about our kids and what life was bringing them, I could see the love for them and the proud feelings for their accomplishments, on your face. As you have been the rock for your family, now let GOD take over, and lean on him for strength in these most trying of times. My prayers continue to be with you all and you know I'm only a call away if needed.

God will never guide you into a place that He will not provide for you. Though we do not always understand why things happen in this life, we absolutely have to trust the God is in control and His way is true. Lean on Him in your pain and rely on His provision in your time of grief. He understands your pain... He, too, lost a son to death. There is power in prayer, and comfort God's arms.

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding;" - Proverbs 3:5
