Barbara Friedman Obituary
Born in Blue Island, Illinois on September 26th, 1941, Barbara earned her Master's degree in social work, and served as a social worker in the Baltimore City School system. On August 15th, 1970 she married Jerry Friedman, to whom she was happily married for 53 years.
After having kids, Barbara dedicated her life to serving her community and others in various capacities. She was active in her church and community in Laurel, MD until she moved to Easton in 2003, where she also actively served, including work with the CASA organization. Barbara was an avid painter and enjoyed boating with Jerry.
Mrs. Friedman is survived by her husband, Jerry of Easton, MD; sons, Daniel Friedman and Andrew Friedman, Andrew's wife Kristin, and 5 grandchildren.
A Celebration of Barbara's life will take place on Saturday, May 11th, 2024, at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, at 2pm.
Donations in Barbara's memory may be made to: St. Mark's United Methodist Church or the Greater Maryland chapter of Alzheimer's Association.
